Since two years I'm a proud member of  "Crystal Ball" from Switzerland. We release our CD "Dawnbreaker" in 2013 and were on tour with Krokus and The Poodles this year. It was awesome! Beside CB I have a Cover Rock Band in Germany with some famous musicians and good friends called "Bourbon Street". I work as a guest singer in some studio and live projects too.

Who are some of your biggest musical influence?
Some famous Rock Bands like Pink Floyd, Van Halen, Deep Purple, Queen etc, but also some Classical Composer like Brahms, Beethoven, Bach, Grieg and of course some great Rock singer and frontman like Freddy Mercury, David Lee Roth, Ronnie James Dio, etc...

When was "Crystal Ball" formed? Tell us about your band...
The band started in 1995 as a cover band (named "Cherry Pie"). These years of stage experiences became the foundation of CRYSTAL BALL, under whose banner the band became one of Europe´s major forces in the Hard Rock genre. Tentatively entitled "In The Beginning" CRYSTAL BALL 1999. The first album was very successful, but topped with ease from the follow-up "Hard Impact", hailed album of the months in several magazines. Followed up by "Virtual Empire" (2002), "HELLvetia" (2003), "Timewalker" (2005), "Secrets" (2007) During this period the band were on Tour with some international acts like: Pretty Maids, Gotthard, Dokken, U.D.O., Doro, Axxis, Pink Cream 69 and Thunderstone. In 2009 the former singer left the Band and the guys were looking for a new one. It was me! I joined the band in 2012 after I met Scott and Marcel and we played together. We started writing songs – get a new deal – work with Stefan Kaufmann (Producer) – release "Dawnbreaker" (2013) were on tour in 2014 with The Poodles and Krokus and Baamm here we are.

You have musical influences of hard rock bands of the 80s?
Yeah, it was my time!!! I grew up with Van Halen, Mötley Crüe, DIO etc... and I really loved this period. It was awesome, Rock N Roll was at its top! Just great.

What next project with "Crystal Ball", new albums, or tours....
Actually we are working on the songs for our new CD. Studio (with Stefan Kaufmann) is booked in January 2015, release Summer 2015! We will play some shows and festivals in fall 2014 with Freedom Call, Tyketto, Axxis, Sinner and some more. Tour and festivals in 2015!

To end the interview, a phrase you want to leave ....
Keep on rocking in a free world!!
