What is the first CD or LP you ever bought? I can' remember, but I remember my first favorite song was "Friggin’ in the Riggin"with Sex Pistols. I played it for my friends in kindergarden.
A guitar: I have a lot of guitars, but the one I use the most is a Gibson Les Paul. I am also endorsed by Vintage Guitars - great brand!
Favorite musician: Also a tough one. I like musicians with attitude, like Keith Richards
Favorite band or group: I listen to all kind of stuff, blues, jazz etc My favorite rock bands are early KISS, AC/DC, Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Slade etc.
As you describe yourself ? As a musician? Less is more…
Martin, how did you become a guitarist?
Rock bands and rock music and specially guitars has always attracted me. When I saw the Sedish band Backyard Babies on TV at the age of 11 I knew I wanted to be a rock star.
Who is your favorite guitar player of all time?
Keith Richards, Chuck Berry, Slash, Malcolm Young...
When did you first start playing guitar, and which artists were your biggest influences?
I got my first guitar when I was 9, but I started to play more seriously when I was 16.
When was "Close Quarters"formed?
In the end of 2006.
